Ginger Cures!
Ginger is an excellent remedy for colds and coughs and although it can be made into a tea, a stronger medicine is made from a decoction. And here's how to make it....
1) Simmer 15 gms of chopped ginger in 750 ml of water until the liquid is reduced to about 600 ml
2) Strain through a sieve and store in a jug. Have 1 tsp, three times a day, it will keep in the fridge for 3 days.
