I started watching Ghost Hunters a few years ago when it first came out. My son loved it, and for awhile there we were always tuned in whenever it came on. After awhile, he kind of lost interest. It seems to me like they have a lot of season finales. More than usual. Anyhow, every now and then we will watch it but it seems like I have kind of lost interest as well.
The people on the show seem so real, and that is definitely a good thing in my eyes. They really try to disprove a haunting. To me, it's getting a bit routine. It seems like there is truly nothing supernatural going on.
Is that the point of the show? To show the world that there really aren't ghosts? And if there are ghosts, the most they will do is maybe give a cold chill? I have to wonder if that is the reason of the show. Or do these people feel that they are really are ghosts, and they are on the search for them.
A movie I found more realistic to hauntings etc was "An American Haunting". I've read a lot about this, and I have actually been to the area. I live about 45 minutes away from it.
I do believe that there is more to life than we are able to see as humans. After all, we all have souls. But the answers may not come until we reach the afterlife ourselves.
