Are you a Coupon Person?

I'm the first to admit that I am. I literally buy the Sunday paper just for the coupons. Honestly. Every Sunday morning, I get up and walk a little less than a mile to the convenience store to pick up a Sunday paper just so I can get the coupons (well, and the TV guide insert -- but mostly the coupons). Being a guy, and especially a younger one, I have been teased mercilessly by friends and neighbors... and my mom. But I'll tell you this much: I save, on average, anywhere from $3-7.00 everytime I go to the grocery store, and I'm not making that up. At the end of the month, I usually wind up saving something like $20.00 through coupons alone!

And that extra $240.00 a year comes in handy when it's time to pay for my therapy (thanks, Mom)...
But it's not always worth it. You have to pay for the paper, spend an hour or so combing through for the products you use, then trimming them out, and sorting them into your little organizer or whatever you use. Then you often have to put up with all the snorts, sighs, and groans of the line behind you while you sift through your notes because you know you have that one coupon you're looking for.

If it weren't for the extra $20.00+ a month you save, you'd almost rather just shop from home, right? Well, now you can with Ebates!

A free, easy-to-use online shopping portal, Ebates gives consumers cash back whenever they shop online at more than 800 name-brand stores. Name-brand stores like JC Penney, Dell, Staples, Barnes & Noble, Office Depot, Circuit City and Target -- just to name a few.

So take a break from the coupon routine for a week or two and give Ebates a shot. According to CNN, "It's a no-brainer!"
