Nope, this is not a scam -- nowhere near it, in fact. MyLot pays you a few cents for every comment you make and even more for each discussion you get started. It's really easy, and just fun enough to be addictive.

And this isn't just a sales pitch, either. I really want more people who know me to sign up and answer my questions so I can link to the results in my blogs! Well, maybe it is a sales pitch, then. Except I'm only selling fun.

Eee. Creepy.

I heard about it through someone else's blog and thought it was okay -- kind of more of a kids' thing, really -- but I signed up and played around for a bit. I got some other folks to check it out, and before I knew it, I was making discussions and answering them left and right and like three hours had gone by!

The next day I logged on to read the responses to my discussions and had made right at $1.00. I wasn't even trying, too! That's what's so much fun about it: you get to answering questions and responding to everyone responding to you and you forget you're getting paid.

It's only a few cents per comment, and I think you get even less when someone responds to questions you create, but it really is fun and too addictive, so it's a great way to kill some downtime or just see what people are talking about.

All you have to do is sign up, enter your PayPal address, and start commenting. You can create new discussions right away, if you want, but a lot of questions have already been asked. You can repeat the same questions, but I usually search to see if there's another one like it and how long ago it was asked before I do. You can check out the questions I've asked by going to my profile.

When you sign up through any of these links, it will automatically notify me that you've done so and tell me whenever you've created a new discussion (so you know you'll get at least one response!). There's also a way to make money uploading images, but it's brand new and I'm not sure how it works.

Oh, and please answer my coolest question so I can include it in an entry I'm planning to make in a day or so!!!
