I have stayed at fairfield resorts - they did the trick - my husband thought it was ok and my kids don't care they just wanted to get out and do the fun stuff for the vacation!

In 1979 Fairfeild began selling timeshares that provied an annual resort vacation at a specific sport for familis - they called that FAX - Fairshare Exchange of Fairfeild Resorts, Inc. Owners could visit other Fairfeild resorts to spend an annual vacation week there - fixed week timeshar. In 1991 they forever changed the concept of timeshare but haveing FairShare Plus - point-based excnahces. This is because people need more flexibility when it came to their time off, vacation lengths, when they were going to go and where they were going to go and what size place they were going to stay in!
