Friday, October 13th is Horror Day!

Throughout history special events and moments of great significance have peppered the landscape of our calendar year. We pay tribute to days as jubilant as the birth of Christ on December 25th and as heart wrenching as Patriot Day, September 11th. These days hold such power that they stir our deepest emotions and color the cloth that is the fabric of our being. But to paraphrase an old cliché: Every demon must have his day. Thus, the Horror Writer’s Association has dubbed Friday, October 13th a national day of Horror!

In recognition of this monumental event, the HWA is hosting a contest to see who can bring the greatest recognition, or infamy, to this new day of morbid dread. Follow this link:
