Freedom of speech

Antropology | Lies | politics | Religion

The freedom of religion guarantees the freedom of speech.
Some people may find the facts I posted in my previous post offensive, however this is only a part of our inherent freedoms.
The reason religious lies were not exposed centuries ago was because it was suicidal to point out the religious con.
Society today is fraught with crime and corruption and this is directly linked to people following a false teaching. If it is deemed offensive to post facts because it makes the Abrahamic followers angry then we will forever be trapped behind a cloak of darkness where lies rule and facts are only known by the few selected theologians who dare not speak.
If we for example are not to speak offensively about Muslims burning and killing because some cartoonists found their cult offensive we will loose our freedom of speech to terrorists.
If I can't point out discrepancies in religion because christians/Muslims and Jews are offended by me letting them know their faith amounts to the worshipping of a misguided cult, I loose the freedom of speech to terrorists telling me what to believe.

Living up to principles

Yes, we can live up to the principles of a society where each and every one has the right to their own way of living and thinking. The only stipulation is that none have the right to impose their opinions on others!
