So far, I haven't really got into the blog thing. My previous blog attempt turned out to be a journal thing for me and not really of any value to anybody else.

I am a self-confessed news junkie, listening, watching or reading news from aorund the world is an important part of my world by understanding the events that are taking place.

Watching the news is not simply current affairs, it's our community, national and international history in the making. I remember going to www.chinadaily.com a few hours after 9/11. In the western media, the event that defined a generation covered entire websites. On the chinadaily website barely a minor article.

For anyone, that is interested Yahoo News has a good site for video coverage.
