Fire burns down the Iron Kettle .... Part of Patti's Settlement in Grand Rivers, KY

Grand Rivers, Kentucky is a little small town with a population of around 300 people.
Most people in the South wouldn't know Grand Rivers right off the bat, but they would have heard of Patti's 1880's Settlement. Patti's is well-known for their delicious food and grounds.
Part of Patti's is the Iron Kettle. The Iron Kettle was a restaurant set off a block or so. They were known for their down home Southern style buffet.
The buffet even featured an old-time cookstove with the iron pots and pans right on it.
It's sad to say, but a fire broke out there this morning about 10:30 am. I just got finished viewing the news report. Nobody was injured, but it was reported that the flames shot up between 30 and 40 feet into the air.
The fire was so big that officials worried that it would literally burn the whole town down. Pretty much the town consists of one rode that runs about a mile. All the businesses are right there off it. I can only imagine what a concern that would be.
The owner says that he will be rebuilding, and I truly hope he does. I've ate at the Iron Kettle many times, and you could get a great meal there. Not to mention how delicious the homemade desserts were.
