Feng Shui decoration. The ornaments (4)

Waves instead of angles.- It is necessary to avoid the ornaments that suggest hostility or hazard, as those that show up acute angles, arrow shapes or threatening images. It is preferable to choose soft and rounded shapes, waves and floral compositions. In general, the feng shui prefers the modernist aesthetics than art decó. Some of the recommended ornaments for our house and their correct location are:

The chandeliers: Create excellent vibrations for the house. They suggest money and success for all the family members. When they are made of glass they still bring more luck if they are located in the rooms oriented toward the Southwest or the northeast.

Paintings: If we hang them down in our house, those of landscapes with mountains and rivers are stupendous from the feng shui point of view. The mountain landscape should face our back side and the water views should be in front to us. We should avoid, however, the representations of aggressive beasts and abstract paintings, mainly those of the cubist school because they contain many acute angles.

Mirrors: When we hang them down it is necessary to pay attention to what they reflect, especially the right angles or objects with sharp points. If we arrange one in the reception room it is necessary to be sure that doesn't reflect the main door: the good fortune that has entered in that house will leave it at once. Also, the reflected door will bring problems for the head of the family, especially health problems.

The plants: They are good stimulants and bring very good feng shui. Living plants are preferable, although artificial plants can also be arranged. Both should be changed when their aspect is withered (in the case of the artificial plants when they have dull or impure aspect) and dried flowers will never be arranged.
