Harmony and balance: In the kitchen two elements combine, the water and the fire. It is necessary to know how to harmonize and to equalize them so that they have very positive effects. Neither the oven nor fires of the kitchen should be faced with the refrigerator neither with the sink. The fires of the kitchen should not be under a window neither in a corner, because both things mean vulnerability against negative energies.

To have a good feng shui in the kitchen means to have a good assortment of foods in the refrigerator at any hour, every day of the week. The strings of onions or garlic hung down in the kitchen are not specially of good omen, against what a lot of people seem to believe. Neither it is to hang down ladles and pans.
