The Feng Shui considers that toilets are a source of bad odor and create a pervasive atmosphere. This can cause many accidents and distresses. In old China, practically no house had them, following the traditional belief that the places where people sleep, eat and work should be as far as possible from toilets.

Their location. To counteract their bad influence, it is recommended that bathrooms be small and be always with the door closed. Also, these doors should never look directly to another door, to a stairway, to a bed neither to the dining table. It is also important to check that the drainages are not blocked. The water should flow freely, because the stagnated water is not only a source of germs, but rather it also harms the energy that wraps the house. It is good to check the correct operation of the drainages and lines at least once a month.
