Fat or Not to Fat?

So its safe to go back to eating fat again? According to the latest "conclusive" study, older women can gobble down on the fat.....it won't affect whether or not they will get heart disease. But wait, isn't most heart disease caused by clogged (with fat) arteries?

Can you believe these people? Again they have switched gears in the middle of the stream. How many times do we listen to "the last word", "the latest findings", "verifiable evidence", only to have this prime info reversed a couple of years later? I don't listen to any of them any more. You can't trust what they say.

Try this new wonder drug, hot new vitamin, diet craze,....amazing results, miraculous cures, lauded by doctors everywhere. Forward two or three years. "Product yanked off of shelves", "wonder drug causing heart attacks....cancer (you fill in the blanks)", "no evidence that wonder drug is effective (after someone has made millions on it)".

I hate this on again/off again seesaw that we seem to be on. Remember when the Federal government told us that eating poorly cooked bacon was killing people and making them sick? They said that to be safe, bacon should be cooked "to a crisp". About 5 years went by, with more people overcooking their bacon, and guess what? The Federal government announced that they had been wrong, bacon cooked to a crisp actually was causing cancer. Anything cooked to a crisp was potentially cancer-causing....call it the charcoal effect. It is deadly under cooked, cooked, overcooked and raw. Maybe Moses was onto something when he said that pork was an abomination and we shouldn't even touch it with our hands.

Anyway ladies, you are on your own. Use commmon sense....and trust no one!
