Fall Festival is a great event for elementary schools

Last night was Fall Festival night at my son's elementary school. We got there around 4:30, but it was already starting to fill up. The actual event didn't start until 5 PM. Tickets were $5.00 for ten and $10.00 for twenty.

This was the first time I had been to a fall festival since I was a child, so I started out with the ten tickets. We went it, and the first place he went in was a little dance room. There was a teacher in there, with black lights, light globes, etc and they did little kindergarden dances. I thought that was a neat idea.

They had the usual things such as basketball toss, football toss, bean bag toss, etc. The map showed a hayride, but we never did find that. By 6PM it was packed in there, and super hard to get through the crowd with a stroller.

His teacher was participating with the little dance room thing. I really like his teacher. She has been teaching for 20+ years, and she had such a good personality. I am thrilled Ethan ended up with her as his kindergarden teacher.

We stopped at the cafeteria (did I spell that right?) They had pizza from godfathers, hot dogs, and chilli in a bag. I never had chilli in a bag before, so I decided to get one. It was so good. For you others that are like me and have no idea what that is, it's chilli in a fritos lay bag with cheese lol.

By 7pm I was dragging. We had bought 20 more tickets, and that was way to much. We left by 7:15.

Fall festivals are really a great way to schools to make some money. It's a great event for parents to take their children too. It was a lot of fun and a win win situation for everyone.
