Eli Roth is Easy!
The last couple of weeks I've been working on getting promotion for 'Stalking Edgar'. One way has been setting up a myspace page for the script. Now, on my NOW personal myspace page I had Eli Roth - director of the 'Hostle' movies! - as a friend. Er, don't know how he got there........
I'm being totally serious! I have no idea how he came to be on my page! I've not drunk heavily in months, so that's not it! So, I figure I just added him in one of those adding frenzies that can happen from time to time. So, not creepy....right??? Well, I went ahead and added him to the film's page. I think he's pretty damn cool, anyway.
Well, I've been going through the friends lists of people I've been adding to 'Stalking Edgar' and guess what?? Eli Roth is EVERYONE'S FRIEND! I mean it! Dude is everywhere!!! It's like some kind of unholy alliance with myspace where he's created a world where he is everyone and no one......oooohhhh.....spooky.....
So, after going through page after page after page of Eli's, I began to wonder....did I add him?? Or, is it some kind of weird and creepy first strike in the Eli-Roth-invasion???
Don't laugh. Remember, it was from his mind that so-called torture porn exploded! Be warned my friends. Keep your eyes open!

The best Myspace friend request I've gotten was from a band that I liked. They asked to be added to my friends, and at the time, they didn't have an obscene number of friends. So it felt kinda special that they were seeking me out because they knew I'd dig their music. Since then, I've become one of about 26000, so I don't feel quite so special. :D

oh, that was mature! LOLOL! i really do though, but eli roth isnt my friend either.....actually no one famous has asked to be my friend, but my hubby is freakin cool and he is a musician (moodswing) one of his song plays when you open my page (yes i am totlly shamelessly promoting him....but guess who benefits if he ever "makes it"? LOL!) aand he is my friend! i have a few other cool bands on my page but they are all my friends' bands....also a lot of pretty people that i met on the road :-P (check out my guy friends....they are eye candy for the ladies) but no eli....*sob*......or david spade....*double sob* i barely ever get requests actually!
BTW, Hostel severely disturbed the crap out of me. i still feel like puking when i think of the japanese girl at the end. oh great....there goes my lunch.....

Wow, there's someone I haven't heard about in a long time! Well, you can so add Eli Roth! He'll approve it for sure! But, here's the real shocker - I haven't seen either 'Hostel' movie yet! I keep meaning to....with the sequel I've actually been dying to see the first one finally!
My requests are really begining to only trickle in now. That means I need to start adding more people. I went through last night and added a few people - like George Romero!!!!! and Dennis Leary! - but, will have to keep on top of it if I want to keep interest up!

I haven't had anyone really famous ask to be my friend, however, there have been some local bands that asked, and I only added them after hearing their music. I am a major, obsessive, music lover. If I like it, I will add them.
I guess I need to hear modelmoms hubby next. Outside of those groups, I dont have anyone else. I am hoping to have a "famous" friend soon though. You know, that one that is making that movie about stalking some director? LOL..
