Easy Mini Facial at Home

Facial is a very fun, relaxing and soothing regiment. It's good to deep cleansing and rejuvenate your skin. No time or fund to do a regular facial treatment at the parlour? Well, no prob, because now you can do it at home too. Here are the steps:

Create a parlour-like atmosphere while doing facial at home. Ideally they tie your hair in high ponytail or simple make you wear a band around your head. Light a few aromatic candles if you want, to add more relaxing effect.

Start with washing your face with your favorite cleanser and give your face a light circular massage. Rinse off.

The parlour usually uses a special steamer to open your pore. At home, you can do it with holding your face over a bowl of hot water and put a towel behind your head to trap the warm air. Do this for 10 minutes.

Exfoliate your skin with facial scrub. Be sure to do it lightly, you dont want to irritate your skin. Massage, dont rub! This will remove the dead skin cells and remove the dirts that clog your pores. Rinse off. Skip this step if you have acnes.

Remove all your black/white heads. In the parlour they usually do it with special tools. If you dont have it, no big deal! Instead, use the comedo remove strip/tape which you can buy in a drugstore.

When it's all completely clean, apply your face mask. You can even make it from the ingredients available in the kitchen which is quite easy and inexpensive (for the recipes, you can look in my previous post). Leave on for 20 minutes and lay bact to relax.

Rinse off the mask and cold steam your face to close your pores. Do it the same way as the hot steam (subsitute the hot water with bunch of ice cubes) or take a little piece of it then gently rub it directly onto your face.
