3. Sell mini-ebooks on your site. I sell a number of small 10 to 15 page mini ebooks. These items have the highest conversion rate of anything I sell. They convert at about 14%. When you consider that the average Internet ebook converts at about 1%, they are great sellers. I sell them all for less than $10 each so it is not my biggest profit center. But they bring in money each and every month with no additional work from me.

So if you are thinking about writing your first ebook, try writing a mini ebook or two. It could pay off big and be just the thing to prepare you to that write that 250 page mega hit that you’ve been thinking about.
