Earning From Adsense - You Need Traffic

Making money from Adsense is one of the main reasons many people are contributing to this site. However, before you can get clicks on your adsense ads you need visitors to your blog.

You can rely on admin to drive traffic to the site or you can make some effort to get links to your blog yourself. One of the best methods for doing this is by writing articles.

Presumably, since you're involved in Blogger Party you enjoy writing - so that shouldn't be a problem. You may even find that some of the blog posts you've made can be turned into articles - killing two birds with one stone.

So how do you go get traffic from articles? Simple - at the end of each article you include a link to your site or blog, along with a short description of what it's about. There's a good chance that if the reader found your article interesting then they will click your link to see more of your work.

So submit your articles to some of the article directories on the web and remember to include a link in your signature file. The article will be viewed by visitors to the article site and you may find that it is distributed around the web, via ezines, newsletters etc. - with your link still attached of course.

You might be surprised at how much traffic you can get this way.

Just to get you started there are some sample article directories below. They're all free to join and will help you get publicity and traffic.

alternative traffic generating gimick

I think that it's a very good point that thamisgith made, as is commonly said "content is king!".

In addition, there are sites that works to push visitors to your site/blog such as hitpulse and blogexplosion. It works by having you visit someone's blog in exchange for others to visit yours. But some people are concern that this action of driving traffic is against the condition set by google, that user should not attempt to artificially drive traffic to their site or be ban from adsense. However I'm unable to confirm whether these people are correct, so try at your own risk!

Yes, I agree one needs traffic

There are quite a few suggestions but they all seem so time consuming.
