Once you come out of drug rehab, you should leave your old life behind if you truly want to make a change. After rehab, you can’t go back to hanging out with your old friends that you used to do drugs with and expect to stay clean and sober for very long. All too often, drug addicts leave rehab with good intentions, but their friends prove to be too influential and addicts fall into their old habits. It’s usually only a matter of time. If you think you’ll have a problem with staying sober, you can take advantage of one of the many drug resistance programs in your area. Just look in the phone book or ask the employees at your rehab institutions.
