Drop shipping is not something new. But is it something good?

Drop shipping is defined as:
"Drop shipment or drop shipping is a type of retailing where the retailer does not keep goods in stock, but instead passes the customer's order and shipment details to the wholesaler, who then dispatches the goods to the customer directly. The retailer makes their profit on the difference between the wholesale and retail price."

I've been searching around looking for legitimate companies that offer this.

This is not something that you want to get ripped off on. You want to find a company that is going to charge you wholesale prices. You want to find a company that will offer you fast shipping to your customers. You will also want to find a reputable company.

It's very hard. But there is some money to be made. You will need a website, and you need to know some basic html. Alot of places such as FatCow $99 Plan offer inexpensive website hosting plans, and a easy to use website builder. This is great for the inexperienced and experienced alike.

Next you will need to know what kind of items you want to offer on your website.

After figuring this out, visit Google or another search engine and start searching. Common terms are drop shipping, wholesale, legitimate drop shippers, etc.

After you find a place, make sure they don't have a minimum order. Also, see if you are able to use their images on your website.

You can also use drop shippers on ebay. Ebay has it's good and bad sides, so look into that as well. You can list an auction for under a dollar, but when the item sells you are charged fees as well. Plus if you use paypal, and you have a premier or business account, they do charge a fee as well.
