It happens to the best of us. Our dogs get a mouthful of something they shouldn’t have and they won’t let go. Here’s how to handle it.

Get a Really Good Treat. Not just any treat, a REALLY GOOD ONE. Approach your dog calmly and quietly with the treat extended and very obvious in your hand. You can say nice things to your dog in a soft, upbeat voice, like “Hey boy, want a treat? How about trading that diaper/sippy cup/$20 bill for a treat?
