Driving isn't as much fun as it used to be. I'm sure we're all safer, but the number of accidents that are caused by people trying to avoid speed cameras and vans with radar guns is amazing.

I agree with the principle of keeping the roads safe, but you can't help thinking that some local authorities are in it for the money. Where they place speed cameras has nothing to do with preventing accidents but rather to do with where they can catch the most people.

It's no wonder the radar detector has become so popular.
