Can be your measure of success of what you'll be
So have faith in what you feel
And try other sites before you give up and kneel.

You may very well find out
That things vary when it comes to clout
And no one site can determine what anyone's about
So move things around if you want to really find out
How good your writing is before you start to pout.

And if you love to write anything at all
No matter how small
Let it out and you will feel tall
Rather than feeling like nothing at all
Even if your vision of success in writing doesn't call.

Focus on joy and happiness instead
And keep yourself from any dread
Of what anyone said
About the work you did.

No one person holds the key
Of what will work successfully
In the world of writing anything
So keep on writing despite everything
That you feel should stop your writing thing.
