In the last few weeks, I have been up to my ears in dogs - cartoon dogs, that is. I have seen Goofy and Pluto and a host of other characters at Walt Disney World.

Just before that, I was involved in a project to write about all sorts of dogs, everything from a Basset Hound to a Weimaraner.

It's been a while since we've had a dog at home, and right now my daughter would rather have a sibling. I'm sure that will change once she realises she won't have to share her toys with a dog.
