You know it's a bad day when you start looking around the house and wondering if it's just better to burn the place down. lol I'm not talking about arson. Well, not in the insurance defrauding sort of way. I wouldn't take any money from insurance, and I'd make sure the fire didn't spread to my neighbor's homes.
We clean and clean, and yet, there are still clothes on the couch. It's an old house, so there is constantly some project or another that we're working on. Currently, there's about 20 projects we're working on. That means that everything is displaced, and there isn't any room for things to go where they belong. My dining table is full of stuff from my daughter's room until we finish painting and put the shelfs back up. The decorations that go on the dining table are in the kitchen drawers. The drawers are laying in the dining room floor because we're painting the cabinets. The paint is in the dining room floor because the porch is too cold. The porch has my vacuum because we haven't built the storage room/pantry yet. We can't build that because we have to finish the staircase that shares a wall with it.
Do you get the problem? Nothing can be finished because something else is in the way. And nothing can be moved out of the way because we have to work on something.
