I'm not a fan of golf. I don't like to play golf. I don't like to watch golf. I don't even like to think about golf. But some of my friends are golfers. They're always going out on golfing excursions on their days off and trying to "catch a few holes" in their free time. I noticed that they all have Ping Golf equipment, too. Some of them even keep an extra set of clubs in their trunk just in case they're stuck somewhere near a driving range with some time to kill. I don't get it. I like other sports...baseball, football, hockey, cheerleading...all those. But I just can't get into golf. I've tried. I really have. I've tried to keep up with Tiger Woods and Phil Mikelson and all those guys. I just can't make myself do it, no matter how hard I try. I think there's just something too simplistic about it. There's no defense. It's just putting a ball in a hole. I guess it just seems too trivial.
