www.directv.com is all set to launch its satellite DIRECTV 11 into the space by December 2007, this satellite follows DIRECTV 10 launched during July 2007. Both these satellites will provide DIRECTV extra bandwith to launch and broadcast more high-definition channels.
It is learnt that DIRECTV 11 will take two to three weeks lesser time to park it in the assigned lot comparing DIRECTV 10. So the satellite will be under operational by the end of January 2007.
