Desire to Look Good

I rarely enter into the fashion writing arena. But, when I do, it amazes me how far people will go to change their shape, and improve their looks.

Plastic surgery to add parts, or remove excess. Then there are padded panties and bras. There are girdles, and stiletto heels. It is really amazing how much we will do to look good.

On the surface, it seems like a futile, or even sexually shallow effort. However, there are fundamental, social elements at play. There is a reason why looking beautiful is important to success which transcend power, ability, and skill.
