I made a decision yesterday. I decided the time had come to sell my stuff. Not all of my stuff - just the stuff I've been carting around without using for about nine years. When I bought my first house in 1996 I went through a decorating phase. I bought furniture, ornaments and pictures. Some of them I put around the house; others were waiting for proper display space or frames or something else.

When I moved in with my husband I put a few things in a box temporarily. That box has followed me to four houses and it still hasn't been unpacked. So I'm thinking - maybe this is a good time to declutter. I could have a garage sale and get rid of them. After all, if I haven't seen them in nine years, how important could they be?

Anyone got any Ebay auction tips to help me?
