The waiting for the Daytona 500 race at the Daytona International Speedway is almost over. I have been checking out Central Florida, Daytona Beach is on the Atlantic Coast and is the biggest of the beach communities.
The radio stations here play what they do all around the rest of the country, the same old stuff. I have not had time to to just sit around and listen to the radio, but there doesn't seem to be any new songs being played.
With the "Grammys" over I thought that some new stuff would finally be played.
I have written and and have been taking notes on what has been happening in Daytona Beach during Speed Week so I can write about the new NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series.
