I haven't been able to write here in the last couple of days because I have been so busy. My sons all wrestled this weekend at the regional wrestling tournament. They needed to place at least 4th place in order to qualify for the state tournament. All 3 of my boys placed 2nd. April 1-2, my sons will be wrestling for the state championship.

I have been working on my business for the past couple of days. Now that I have a name, I am getting extremely nervous. I don't have a lot of money to start this business. Truth be told, all our money goes to bills and we really don't have any extra. Once I start the business, I am going to have to devote all my time to it, which means I am going to have to quit my job. It really scares me to death because we really need my income. I honestly believe my business will work, but it is still scary to think about leaving a secure job with a regular paycheck that my family needs. Doubts keep going through my mind; what if I do fail? What will my family do without my regular paycheck? Even with my fears I keep pressing on and making plans.

I have been thinking about different ways to advertise. Since I am on an extremely limited budget, I am trying to think of creative ways to do it. I have a computer, printer, and software, which is going to really help cut costs. Until I start making some money, I am going to make my own business cards, brochures, and flyers on my computer. I also decided to offer discounts for referrals from clients. Word of mouth is the cheapest form of advertising. I need to look into other advertising methods, but for now, on my limited budget, I am going to focus on advertising in particular areas.
