Grown in the foothills of the Himalayas in northeast India, our Darjeeling comes from some of the best tea estates in the area. It is cultivated at high altitude in a cool climate, so the tea bushes mature slowly, developing the characteristic "muscatel flavor" found in the finest Darjeeling and giving it the reputation as the "champagne of teas."
