'Dangerously Incompetent' Bush Puts Us All in Hot Water

Submitted by Radreview on March 25, 2006 - 7:02pm.

Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, unfortunately, has loudly aired what many people have thought privately, that President Bush is "dangerously incompetent."

This echos what House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said back in May of 2004 during the election campaign. She also used the word "incompetent." Like Reid, Pelosi reminded all of us that Bush's policy in Iraq is to blame for the loss of U.S. lives and a host of other issues, foreign and domestic.

As much as I disagree with Democrats on just about everything, they are right about this one and if Bush is impeached, it should be for gross incompetence, not necessarily doing anything technically illegal.

Vice President Dick Cheney is shooting his friends and "Condi" Rice is thinking more about the National Football League's commissioner job than anything else.

Bush needs to change his team, because he certainly can't stand on his own. That's bad for all of us.

Political Maturity

Looks like you may have awakened just in time! It's not about party affiliations and voting along party lines. It's about recognizing the truth--and the truth is usually found between two opposing views. Obviously, it has taken a lot of courage for you to make the quantum leap! My hat is off to you:)

It's time to get this country back on track.

In between

You are right. It seems that the truth always lies somewhere in between the two polarized sides that people tend to take. That is not only true in politics, but in most of life it seems.

What bothers me is this: the Democrats are not doing a very good job of coming up with a viable candidate. I am proudly a middle of the road non-affiliated optimist in most cases. I tend to look to the individual rather than the party, but I really think that if the Democrats are going to put their eggs in the Hillary basket then it may be time for our first third party president.

Then again, I could go on and on about how the President is the most overrated person in government. In this case, though, as commander in chief you need someone who can "fix" what needs fixing. The other stuff, though, I think we can look as critically at who we put in congress as who we put in the oval.

Alienation

There is a huge amount of alienation amongst the populace, and it is directly related to individuals like you and me not feeling represented in gubment. Two parties are seemingly like two big bullies in the schoolyard, battling over who will 'dominate' the rest of us who are just living our lives.
