Cure those CRAMPS

PMS disappears once you get your period, but for some girls this isn’t really a consolation because that’s when the cramps start. The body produces the hormone called prostaglandins, which makes the uterus contract more strongly during menstruation. Some girls produce more amounts of it, while other s may just be more sensitive to the “Menstrual cramps also help expel the discharge,” says Ob-Gyne Joan Tan Garcia, MD. But how just do you make your period easier to bear? There are already a lot of medications available in the market. “Any of the mefenamic acid, acetaminophen, paracetamol, ibuprofen would be sufficient,” advises Tan Garcia. just make sure you only take the prescribed amount! Exercise may also be beneficial for pain relief, again, because of those wonderful beta endorphins. (Tip! Drinking lots of hot water helps ease my stomach cramps. – Ed.) However, when your cramps are so severe that it already interferes with your everyday activities, such as when you have to stay home from school or work.

Another good way to stop

Another good way to stop painful periods is to get on the Depo shot. On the depo shot, I don't have periods at all. Plus, you don't have to worry about blood clots like you do with the birth control pill. Thanks for sharing.
