Me again,
Another day, another tutorial. I hope you guys enjoy them. ^_^ Oh and by the way...
I've been setting up a forum for people in need of Computer Help and Adobe Photoshop Help for my major as I am majoring in CIS and minor in graphic designing, so I haven't updated lately. I've been working on that. Most of the tutorials i have here are there also and if you would like to join and help me out or have any questions with computers with problems, viruses, etc. we can be able to offer assistance over there also.
the link is http://s15.invisionfree.com/Hmongenius and its for anyone with computer related problems or wants to know how to use adobe photoshop.
First off, let start with an image of a lasagna or anything that you feel you want to add some smoke to it. any image you find suitable will do.
I will start off with this picture

Now,
[1]Lets create a new layer via the box on the right

[2]Use the eliptical marquee tool to draw some random verticle circles. (hold SHIFT to draw multiple ones) Then lets fill it with white.

[3]Then, right click anywhere on the circles and lets give it a "feather" and in the settings, lets give it a 10.

[4]Fill it with white and the go to Filter>Distort>Twirl and in the settings lets give it something like a 45. you should end up with something like this

[5]Then, lets set the opacity layer of the smoke created to like 50%. Then you should have something like this.

[6]you're pretty much done. If you want to, play around with the smudge tool until you get something you like if you dont like how it turned out.
