crazy headache

This weekend, I had a strange and frightening experience. I had the most intense cranial pain ever- it came suddenly, and felt like blood pumping through veins in my skull, all around mt brain. After that, I still had dull pains throbbing throughout the weekend, but nothing as severe as the initial hit.

I though I may have had an aneurysm, so I did some research on that, and it is possible that I did indeed have a minor aneurysm.

I you don't know, an aneurysm is when your vein forms a little bulge on the side, and this commonly becomes a little sac. Eventually they pop, because the stretched vein is too weak. People with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and smokers are all at risk of this type of thing.

Well, I'm feeling much better today, and I hope it lasts... I'm going to take it easy for awhile, as I read that the chance of the aneurysm bleeding again lasts for six weeks! Unfortunately, my mom wants me to help her botfriend dig on Thursday, but I'm just going to do it really slowly...

Dude, if this really were a burst aneurysm ...

... chances are real good you wouldn't be writing to us about it.

This sort of thing has another name that others, if not you, will be familiar with.

A stroke.

It's nothin' to mess with. And you wouldn't be inclined to mess with it once you noticed the paralysis, blindness, speech impediment, loss of memory ...

I don't know you, your history, or your circumstances. There are a lot of potential explanations, most of them benign. But if this kind of thing isn't just a one-off, I would say a trip to the physician is in order. Rather than idle, and perhaps, dangerous speculation based on a Google search.

If you gotta a aneurysm

diggin' some hole with ANYBODY is a bad a idea as any precipititative exertion can be increasin' the intercranial pressure in your noggin which aint good if you got a vein that bulgin' and swellin', something to do with the Vagal nerve/stimuli, like what you get when you are sitti' on the pot tryin' to pinch a loaf...Elvis suffered one of these episodes and we all done seen what happen'd to his majesty...don't ask me how I know this little bit of medical-related info...maybe it has to do with sufferein' from the occasional pain in my noggin, except that is because the Big Chubby pencil that I casually stuck up my nose when I was a'bout 9 years old is still up there floatin' around in my septum-sphere...you should go get this looked at.
Adios,
Bob
