Cowards Don't Get Liposuction - Do They?

There isn’t enough money in world to convince me to have liposuction. At one time, when I weighed considerably more than I do now, I tried every diet in the book. Nothing seemed to work. I was really depressed about how I looked, but managed to convince myself, for years, that I was just slightly overweight – not obese.

Every store window I passed showing a reflection of the blob I had become was proof that I was just fooling myself. Even though I avoided looking at weight charts like the plague, I knew exactly how much the doctor’s scale recorded each time I had an appointment. (I had quit stepping on the scale at home for obvious reasons.)

Once the door between the doctor’s waiting room and the hall that held the scales had been left open. The nurse, who should have been chastised with a rubber hose, in my humble opinion, motioned me to the scale and then cheerfully announced my weight to the whole waiting room. You would think that would have shamed me into working on getting rid of some of that fat, but it didn’t.

Once, I even thought of liposuction, but, besides the fact that I am the world’s worst coward, it was a solution I felt was far too expensive to even consider, so I didn’t.

What finally brought me to my senses was the announcement by a new doctor I had just started to see that I was certainly trying my best to acquire diabetes. Most of you are familiar with the disease, but I had several friends who were already battling the disease as well as a couple of relatives who had died from it. Although diabetes, in most cases, can be managed, it isn’t pretty.

I went to Weight Watchers and, after a number of months following their program, I finally got down to a reasonable weight. I’ll admit, I have slipped up a number of times in the years since then, and am still slightly (really) overweight, but whenever I think about diabetes, it helps me get back on the program again.

I am the first person to admit that the same program that works for one person may not work for another. If you have tried them all and are reaching the same point of desperation that I once faced, and if you are braver than I am, you might want to check out los angeles liposuction and see if it might be the answer for you. In addition to liposuction, they also offer many other services including face lifts. After you look at your new figure after liposuction, you may decide to update some other parts of your body, too.
