A Fond Farewell R.I.P Micheal Jackson

No matter what we all think about Micheal Jackson and his weird ways, the one true thing about him was his ability to perform like no one else on the planet...in other words we can hate him for his predilections but we can't take the art away from the artist.
The life Micheal Jackson led was not an easy life for any child to have to endure...I am aware that not all abused kids grow up to become abusive themselves, however it does tend to happen more often than not.
What kills me is the overwhelming support he is now receiving after his untimely death...where were all these people when he was facing charges of pedophilia?? No one wanted to believe it at first until Micheal himself said "there's nothing wrong with sharing a bed with a child...it's the kindest thing anyone can do" That pretty much creeped everyone out, myself included.
So we are now celebrating his art, as we should. No one else has garnered anywhere near as much attention this past week...Farrah Fawsett, Ed McMahon, several other greats also passed away, to little fanfare. Why? Because while Farrah was a somewhat decent actress and while Ed McMahon was a decent announcer neither of them had the super star status that Micheal had...and he did earn every dance step of his fame. I still tap my feet whenever one of his tunes comes on the radio, but I don't go out of my way to watch reruns of the Tonight Show nor do I go out of my way to rent any old reruns of Charlies Angels...go figure.
Some artists cut off their ears while others like little boys, but what lives on in everyone's memories is the art. So Micheal Jackson wont molest anymore kids, IF he ever did and he will no longer bring his brilliance to the much battered music scene....that's why he will be missed, at least by me and countless others. R.I.P.

I Think Some of it Sassys
is the shock of it. Ed McMahan was pretty old and Farah was terminally ill, but Jacko was planning a come back which I think would have been brillian. The last thing any one expected was for him to drop dead.
I don't think he molested kids. He was naive and child-like...but I don't think he wanted to hurt children. He was just "one of the kids" himself.....He was also very wealthy and an easy target.....
But....who really knows the truth except for those directly involved.
He will be remembered as the briiliant entertainer he was.....
I still have some doubts Mz Zola
but only because of several interviews Micheal Jackson had and also the way he acted with his own kids. I think he was childlike but not nearly as naive as he wanted everyone to think he was. I do believe also that the first kid that claimed he had been molested was not, because if he had been no amount of money would have been enough to satisfy any decent parent. So was it all a set up? I don't know, but like I said his music will live on forever and that's a good thing:)

Lisa Marie Pressley's blog.....http://bit.ly/5wR7p .....I think it says a lot.
Actually I did wonder about her blog Mz Zola
And I would tend to believe her simply because of the way she has been known to react to certain situations...she comes across as being honest unlike so many "famous" people, she is no phony...I will read it when I get the chance...thanks for the link.
