Elly calls for support to save BE from the sploggers and spammers. Please come to the aid of the BE party!
'We've been continually attacked here at BE by sploggers and spammers - in fact there were probably 100 posts by some unwelcome blogger on this site. The best way to beat these folks is to post more often here.
I have communicated with our Admin, who has deleted the most recent and crazy posts, but the reality is that this site is at risk if we don't have more quality action.
The future is up to us in a way, although I have sought some input from our Admin, so the next few weeks are crucial. We need more action here.
Please post quality posts, preferably of your own work, (or use others' but acknowledge the writer), and some more action on the comments.
Please remember links are OK - but they should not all point to some product sales site - they should be to ADD FURTHER INFORMATION to your blog. And only three please. No more.
So guys and gals, over to you.'

Look at the comment board here....today...it is taken up by sploggers. When they post fake comments, it pushes the real comments off of the board. Real comments from real bloggers help draw other comments to a blog. These people stop in for 5 minutes, fill the board with their free advertising and then move. The blogging site is no longer a community of bloggers exchanging ideas and comments, but a sounding board for people who just want to make money and move on. The comments need to be removed.
I know BE has been taken over by sploggers, it is one reason I don't go there very often. I am back in school and don't have too much free time.....I have stayed here because it has been a more active site, with more bloggers commenting. I don't write many blogs these days, but I do like to comment.
I just sent a message to Admin about the new splogger
on this site. And knowing our Admin, that splogger will soon be history because his splogging is against the site rules.
The Admin on BE could do the same thing, just banish the sploggers. Sure, new sploggers will always find their way there and have to be banished, as well. It's a continuing process. But that's the price of being Admin on a site like this. Having more legitimate bloggers and more posts won't make one bit of difference - the sploggers will just have a bigger audience to play to. I think the BE admin is just using the sploggers as an excuse to drum up more business - can't say I blame them. But they should do their job and keep cleaning up the sploggers.
This latest one on Blogger Party is a real prick. I hate it when people put their splog on my blog. It's a personal affront. But he's stupid, too! LOL!!! Really stupid. He splogged Admin's own blog post. What an idiot! LMAO!!
And now, he's history.
