Condemning Christian Convert Wrecks Islamic Credibility

The situation that follows is staggering in its implications. How can it happen? And what does it reveal about the underlying truth of most Islamic cultures?

It appears that a Christian convert in the Muslim nation of Afghanistan stands to be conviction of a crime that calls for the death penalty under the harsh shariah laws of that country.

In the Western world, killing someone just because they want to change their religion is completely off the boards.

This begs the question: Why bother? Why bother to get rid of the Taliban, and to be engaged in Iraq? We are gaining nothing.

Time to get out and let these people wipe themselves out. They certainly don't need our help to do that.

Killing for beliefs.

It is well and good to condemn Islam for killing a person for not desiring to follow their cult; remember however, the Christians slaughtered millions for the same reason!

The man was condemned because converting is against the law. It had nothing to do with Muslim/Christian beliefs. Afghanistan is a Muslim nation. Why does everything on this damn site have to be so anti-Christian?

You handily skipped over the point. Let me clue you in, between 1208 and 1600 more than half the population of France was slaughtered for either switching to the Gnostic faith or being of the Gnostic faith. The rest of Europe suffered a similar disaster!

Christianity/ Islam and Judaism is bad news, there are aspects of their cults which undermine civilization!
