Today is one of my favorite days of the year. I get to sit on the couch and watch great college football teams battle it out all day in bowl games. It used to be that almost all the games were played on New Year's day but times have changed and now not as many games are played but there are still enough to keep my attention. The only thing that would be better than these bowl games would be a playoff. But that is not going to happen until these NCAA cronies stop worrying so much about their paychecks and money and worry about the student athletes and all the hard work they put in and the money they provide for these schools. Start a playoff and the money will still roll in. People are going to watch football no matter what, they are going to go to the games to see their favorite teams no matter what. So let the deserving teams duke it out on the field. Maybe one day in this lifetime I will get to see that, but for now I guess I'll have to deal with the bowl games. Oh well, at least March Madness is only a few months away, just imagine if they had that for football.
