With the wide selection of coffee makers on the market, it can often be tough to decide which is the best one for you. Between vacuum pots, cappucino makers, automatic drip and many others, the choices can be overwhelming. But taking some time to research what the different ones do and how they can benefit you can make your mornings just that much more enjoyable. Following are some things to consider when purchasing your next coffee maker.
First decide if you prefer coffee or espresso. An espresso maching is vastly different from a coffee maker. If you decide you'd rather have espresso, that's a whole different article.
Decide between a drip, plunger, filter or combination coffee maker. The most popular is an automatic-drip because you can turn it on and leave it to take a shower and come back to a full carafe of coffee. With some newer models, you can even set a timer at night and you can wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee in the morning. Like the commercial says - "It's the best part of waking up."
Decide if you want to make several cups of coffee at once or if you want to get a one-cup coffee maker to conserve coffee and energy. It also makes clean-up a breeze and saves you from having to throw away unused coffee.
After you have purchased your coffee maker, buy some of your favorite coffee. Experiment with different brands and flavors if you're used to just drinking the same thing every morning. Try a gourmet coffee shop for even more variety that you may have never even heard of.
Get the products you need. In addition to the coffee beans, you'll also need to get coffee filters, coffee cups and other things to make the perfect cup of coffee.
