Chinese milk scandal now involves Swiss company Nestles...
The Chinese baby milk scandal has widened and now involves giant Swiss company, Nestle.
The death toll is still four and the number of ill children exceeds 40,000.
Twelve more people have been arrested and another seventy eight questioned in connection to the scandal.
There have been reports of other milk products being contaminated by melamine in overseas countries, including New Zealand where a number of milk products originating from China have been taken off the shelves after tests have shown they have been contaminated as well, and also in Hong Kong where products have been removed from two supermarket chains.
This scandal has a long way to run, in my opinion, and will continue to harm innocent foreign companies through their association with their guilty Chinese counterparts.

The Dairy Farm milk was made by Nestle's division in the Chinese coastal city Qingdao. The Swiss food and drinks giant issued a statement Sunday saying that none of its China-made dairy products contained melamine.
"Nestle once again expresses confidence that none of its products in China is made from milk adulterated with melamine," the statement said. It did not specifically respond to the Hong Kong report of tainted Dairy Farm milk.

But only because I am originally from Europe. They are supposedly a great company to work for...I seem to remember a story years ago about how they envision a future blablabla...but they sounded like one of the better companies...things may very well have changed since then though.

they're Swiss and Cadbury's which is big here in NZ too, is British.
