We are coming down to the wire on this Guinness Book record setting for the most guitarists playing "Smoke On The Water" at the same time. The record is 1,329, so this radio station wants at least 2,000 guitarists just to make sure it is record breaking. The guitar is my favorite instrument, however, I cannot play. If I could, you bet I would be taking part in this. The sound alone is worth just going out to hear.
This all will take place in Kansas City, Kansas at the Community America Ballpark, home of the KC T-Bones minor league baseball. Please if you can get here, come out and be a part of this world record.
It is Sunday, June 3rd, unless it is raining, then the rain date will be June 24th.
Registration is being done online and you may even register the day of the event, at 9:00 am. Record attempts will begin at 12:30 pm.
