The Bristol Motor Speedway oval short track, a half-mile of 16-36 degrees of tilted roadway rubbered by smoldering racing tires at 180 mile-per-hour speeds by 43 stockcar racers in a line inches apart, in the Food City 500 (referring to the miles-in-length of the race.)
This year a new car designer is entering the list of Marques, NASCAR Research and Development the design division of the Stockcar Racing organization created the template of the Car of Tomorrow which will be powered by Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford and TOYOTA 358 cubic-inch V8 engines and drivetrains, the racecars themselves having minor styling details so fans can tell which make they represent, body-wise.
