Did anybody else watch American Idol? To be honest, I was a little bored by the girls performances on Tuesday. Even my favorites, Katharine McPhee and Paris Bennett, didn't wow me. I thought Ayla Brown and Mandisa were good though.

Then on Wednesday, when it was the boys turn, I found myself bored again. The only performances I truly enjoyed were Elliot Yamin's and Chris Daughtry's. Something about Elliot just makes me like him, and then to top it off, that boy can sing! I don't need to say much about Chris, it's obvious he's a star! I cringed a little when Ace Young attempted Daniel Beddingfield's "If you're not the one" especially when he hit that high note. I thought the song was not his style at all. It was still fun watching him though.

On Thursday's result show, I was shouting for joy (along with all of America) when Brenna Gethers was FINALLY voted off. Talk about being unlikeable. If she manages to score a record deal, I'll be shocked. And what is with all the posing? Either that girl is incredibly vain or incredibly insecure and trying to cover it up.

I really wish they had sent Kevis Covais aka Chicken Little home. Be honest now, you know he can't sing! He's only being humored on the show because of the cuteness factor. Maybe he brings in a lot of the 5th grade votes. Either way, he needs to go home next week or I don't know what I'll do. How did he manage to make it this far?

Carrie Underwood's performance of "Jesus take the wheel" was sooo good. I have to go buy that CD now. I didn't watch the last season of American Idol, so this was actually the first time I saw her perform. She strikes me as a likeable person... kind of like Kelly Pickler... and she can REALLY sing!

And now the question the everyone has been asking... what was up with Paula Abdul on Thursday? She was giggly and wasn't making any sense when she spoke. Was she drunk? Does she have something going on that we don't know about? Even Ryan Seacrest noticed and had to ask her to be serious TWICE! I'm not sure what was going on with her, but if anyone has any thoughts on this, please let me know.

Guess what the American Idol Final 12 get if they make it that far? Their very own MySpace profile! LOL... Apparently, despite the 30-40 million viewers who watch every week, only about 500,000 have visited the American idol official website. They're hoping to draw traffic from the popular MySpace over to their little website. I went to their website and it only kept my interest for about 5 seconds... so maybe that's the problem. Plus, there's already fake profiles popping up. I know that I have Katharine McPhee and Ace Young on my friend's list... so who is behind those profiles?
