Blue Skies or Grey Skies?

Caribbean | holiday | vacation

It's bye, bye blue skies, hello grey skies. I've just been to the Caribbean for a few days. The sky was brilliant blue, the clouds were white and the sun was hot - but not too hot. I could live there.

It got me thinking about good places to buy a vacation home Orlando springs to mind as a good choice. You get the same white beaches and great climate, combined with a better cost of living and access to big name acts, which are conspicuously absent from the West Indies.

One of my friends complained bitterly that unlike the US and UK, where a headline act will perform for over two hours, Caribbean concert goers are likely to get one hour at best, and that after shelling out first world prices.

Orlando also has the advantage of major theme parks and attraction. Disneyworld is on my list of places to visit - a left over hankering from my school days.

So, where would you buy a vacation home if you had a choice?
