In a way. I admit that this is a reason for me, maybe not the main one, but definitely a real existing one. You may say I don't get much attention in tangible life, and, you could be right. But I think it's different: virtual attention, when received, is undivided and thus much more appealing.
"Get a life!" - I hear from the back rows. Well, how about a virtual one? I can ignore what I don't like, linger on what I like... just like a fairy tale of likes. Something new should be written in this forgotten genre, something with computers. And it's not "sci-fi", cause computers are long ago stopped being "sci-fi".
Back to attention seeking, however. What I am trying to say is that internet gives a more distilled outlook on how people behave; and as the number of bloggers, so is the number of attention seekers.
