One of the best ways to increase link popularity is to take advantage of the blogosphere. The thought of contacting individual bloggers and asking them to write about and link to your site in their posts is equally as inefficient as writing to webmasters and asking for links.
That's where Blogitive comes in. Blogitive was created as a resource for webmasters to build natural links while partnering with thousands of bloggers in the blogosphere. Search engines give higher value to links that are contextually placed.

You may have seen the movie "Mail Order Bride," and heard that phrase in conversation from time to time, but did you know that it really is possible for men and women from around the world to meet each other online through organized international dating sites?
Russian women and women from other Eastern European countries actively seek relationships with men from places like the United Stated and Canada. Both sides may be in for a bit of a culture shock. The women from other parts of the world are much more likely to have marriage and family as there main priorities in life so causal dating is not their goal. They prefer dating with the intention of establishing a family.

If you have been trying to build an income online, you have come across dozens if not hundreds of blogs devoted to the topic of Internet marketing. Rest assured, there are thousands of others that you have yet to discover.
There is a new Internet marketing blog called NetResults that deserves attention though because it is sponsored by search engine marketing firm USWeb. Since USWeb is a real company with real clients and optimal results, then this blog should stand out among its competitors. I am so tired of marketing blogs that are nothing but affiliate link commission opportunities for their owners.

If you started driving pre-Internet (say before 1998 or so), then you remember what a nuisance it was to get car insurance rates. You would have to call several local agents in your area, giving them lots of information over the phone or make an appointment to visit them in their offices.
Thanks to companies like CarInsurance.com and their easy access to quote your online car insurance rate, comparison shopping can now be done over the web at a convenient time from the comfort of your own home. In some states, you can even complete the process and have your proof of insurance in 15 minutes! Now that is technology used for the better.

You may already be familiar with the Fairfield Resorts and not realize it because over half a million families enjoy the Fairfield lifestyle, vacationing annually at one of more than 70 world-class resorts in 21 states and U.S. territories — representing 9,000-plus timeshare condominiums.
Did you know that the company was founded in 1966? I always thought the concept of timeshares was something from the 1980's! The company does explain that it was 1979 before the concept really took off in the United States so I wasn't that far off in my assessment.

I have friends that just returned from a vacation in Florida (during which they probably stayed in one of those Orlando Vacation Homes ) a couple months ago and are already making plans to return there.
Who can blame them? How many places in the World have 52 theme parks? Beaches within a short 40 minute drive? And outstanding resorts and vacation homes to stay in for less than most other popular destination places? All that and Disney World too?

Ok, I have to say that when I am researching the TV DVD information for this blog, I often notice shows I never even heard of. I happen to have an excellent memory so even if I have never seen so much of a second of particular show, I can usually place it in its timeframe and network just because I remember reading about it or hearing about it.
When I see some of these titles, my mind draws a blank. I know I could look them up online, but it would be more fun to get everyone's participation. Here are a few recent releases that slipped under my radar during their initial runs.

Do you want to Buy Christmas Flowers this year instead of reusing the plastic ones from last year? Good idea!
Don't get me wrong, I love the value of those plastic decorations, but if you want a look that is both elegant and natural, you will have to get some real flowers.
Many legends exist about the origin of the poinsettia, but one fact is this: The name Poinsettia is derived from Joel R. Poinsett, U.S. ambassador to Mexico, who introduced the plant to America in 1828. I think it's interesting that the flower that represents a season of peace was introduces by an ambassador, someone whose job it is to ensure peaceful relations among countries.

When writing sponsored posts, sometimes the topic will be something I haven't thought about in a long time or something fascinating. This is one of those times.
Today I am writing about an emergency shelter . Had it not been for the movie Panic Room, I wouldn't have thought those types of rooms existed outside of an occasional storm cellar in certain parts of the country.

I've never been a bridesmaid, but I have heard plenty about bridesmaid gifts because I had two female friends who got married in the space of a few months.
That was over ten years ago, long before people signed online to get ideas to solve so many of their problems. In those days, they trudged around the mall and around town trying to find the right gifts for their attendants. They would have loved to have a resource like Shop For Weddings, the Internet Wedding Superstore, which offers cheap, personalized wedding favors as well as groomsman and bridesmaid gifts. The site even offers free personalization on many items. That site would have saved a lot of time for my friends.
