Last summer I spent my vacation on a farm. Don’t laugh at me as it was really interesting for me. I am a city girl and I have never been to the country before. I understood that I knew very few things about farm life. I was really surprised when I discovered that the corncobs did not grow in the earth like pineapples do. So, I decided that it was the high time for me to educate in that sphere too. Besides, I understood that agrotourism is not bad thing at all. Many people like to spend their holidays this way. As for me, I went to a farm that was located in the state of Texas. There were so many animals like horses, sheep, pigs and some other. I rented a room on that farm so I didn’t have problems connected with the search for the accommodation. I help the farmer’s wife to look after the house. There were some other people who also spent their vacation on that farm. They helped the farmer to look after the animals. In the evening we all gathered together and shared our impressions about the day we had. As we all were from different countries, we told about our countries, their cultures and traditions. In the end of our vacation on the farm we had a final party and the next day we all left for home.
